Our French Second Language program is specifically for Quebec High School Diploma requirements, or pre-requisite requirements for college and university.

We do not offer drop-in conversation classes.


Below you will see the French Second Language curriculum structure, Level 1 through Level 5 toward a Quebec High School Diploma

FRE P101-2 to FRE 2102-3
Beginner French
Oral communication and comprehension in everyday life situations and some written productions, in small groups. Basic skills and initiation to the French culture. Progressive acquisition of the language in order to produce a clear message.

FRE-3101-1 to FRE-3106-1  and FRE 4101-1 to 4104
Intermediate French
Development of oral and written comprehension and some oral and written production. Individualized, student centered learning. Follow up of the previous acquisitions.

FRE 5091-6
Advance French
Mastering of oral and written comprehension and some oral and written production. Individualized, student centered learning. Follow up of the previous acquisitions.

FRE 5084-4
Individual production of different aspects of the newspaper such as interviews, critiques, editorials etc. Evaluation of oral, written comprehension and production. Compulsory two classes a week. Supervised by the teacher.
Pre-requisites; must have completed FRE 5091-6 with success.
